Well I haven't been here for a while but so many wonderful things have happened to me. I have been very blessed these last few months.
First, well my car broke down back in September, I thought Id be out of a car till who knows when. The repairs would cost more than I expected and well I was not ready for it. But I was being watched over and some wonderful person donated some money for the repairs that needed to be done. Which made the wait a lot shorter.
Then, I live with amazing roommates. Their names are Becky, Lily, Sandy, Kim and CristaAnne. Each of them have made a difference in my life with their wonderful example. We have had some nice movie nights and late night talks. And I am thankful for the laughs and some random tears we have shared.
My dad, he is the best! Well since I got my car back there has been some minor issues. And for some reason they happen once a week, luck, not necessarily. First, a few weeks ago I was just not myself. I had so many things going through my mind and well did many things that well yes I WAS NOT THINKING STRAIGHT. So I got in my car, backed up not sure why at all. It was not even necessary because there was no cars in front of me. And well I hit a car, damaged my band new bumper, but luckily the other car was just fine. But the same night with being so distracted after a movie I took a different road home and well was maybe going a little to fast for someone who is not thinking straight and I am sorry for that stupidity. Utah has somethings known as dips, I didn't see it coming and well I slammed on the brakes and hit my car pretty bad. But the effects of that came a week latter. My dad called and asked me to check my parking spot. It seems that my card had been leaking transmission fluid for a whole week. Which could of totally wrecked my car and bye bye car. My dad is do amazing that he was able to fix it for me over the weekend.
Then that repair lead to a tiny mistake for which on the following day there was a consequence. May I mention that the car worked just fine the night before. That next day, Sunday, I woke up went to church and made it safely. But when I was going to leave church my car would not start, you can only imagine how sad I was. One thing after another without fail. Once again I called my dad, told him and he came to my rescue. It seems that what happened was that there was a cable not plugged in correctly to the alternator. Once we plugged it in it was all on just waiting for the battery to charge. And I was off once again happily in my car.
Lastly yesterday, oh yes, something happened once again. The day started normal, and once again after church I got home and the fan in the car was still running which was unusual. So I popped the hood open and saw that the tube that connects to the radiator had come off. Go ahead imagine the face of disappointment that I had. But I did not let that get me down, no sir. I called my dad once again and had him come help me out.
Wow, yeah I sure feel like the luckiest girl in the world. Not because of all the headaches my car is causing me, but because of my dad. He is a wonderful man and I am sure thank full to have him in my life.
I have tried to be more positive and it sure has helped out a lot as I try to live and love my life. And I can say that I sure can laugh at these thing that happen.
